The Port of Rønne is a public limited company, owned in part by the local authorities, but it is financially and judicially independent.

The combined length of the quays is approx. 3 km (excl. the yacht harbours). The waterdepth varies from 9m in the entrance to 9 to 4m in the bassin.
The annual turnover of goods is about 1.300.000 tons. Cargo ship/Ferries pay 3.600 calls and fishing vessels, which unload their takings at a value of 25 million kr., pay 4.000 calls a year. Visiting yachts spend 1.300 nights in Rønne.
The harbour is navigable all the year round 24 hrs. a day.
Brokers and stevedore companies can solve all practical problems in connection with transport.
All kinds of ships repairs are carried out by campanies located at or close to the harbour. |
