West Harbour

The West Harbour, consist of quay 26 - 30
 
Quay 26,  length 175 m, water depth 7,0 m – is primarily intended to serve ferries. During the summer season it is mainly used by ferries on the routes between Rønne and
foreign destinations and by cruise ships. It is equipped with heavy fenders projecting 1,5 m from the quay-wall. To serve ferries and Ro-Ro ships alongquay 26 there is a hydraulic
loading platform at the eastern end of quay 27. A deployment area for approx. 150 cars is to be found immediately next to the loading platform. Customs and Immigration Authorities are also located on the quay.
Fresh water and electricity 380/63 max. output, are available.
 
Quay 27, length 100 m, water depth 7 m – serves the loading and unloading of general and heavy goods. The Rønne-Hundested-Kolding-Ålborg general cargo route has its anchorage here. Fresh water is available.
 
Quays 28 and 29, length 265 m, waterdepth 7,0 m – have a loading system for sand with a capacity of 400 tons per hr. and a silo and an unloading system for cement. In connection with the silo there is also a loading system for grain. Furthermore – there is a storage area for agricultural lime and fertilizer. Besides  the loading and unloading of sand, grain, foodstuff, cement, agricultural lime and fertilizer this quay also handles general and heavy goods. Fresh water and electricity 380/63 max. output, are available.
 
Quay 30, length 90 m, water-depth 7 m – handles general and heavy goods and wood.
